I stopped by a tire shop that opened at 8am. I needed a nail removed, and a patch, he told me at 5 minutes till 8, that he would,"fix it when I get the gumption. .."

After checking out, I had spied their hours for Sunday....
720ish on a Sunday morning I walked to their door to check store hours.
8am opening.
" We're open now" and unlocked the door.

Great store, amazing selection of hardware, fasteners, and hard-to-find items. Really nice people who are very helpful. It is a truly wonderful small town hardware store, plain and simple!

Two gentlemen were there, one came to the door. I asked when they opened, and he said,
First of all, I have to say that I love small town hardware stores and Cripple Creek Ace has always been one of my favorites. When we started coming out here, we would need "things" to make repairs to our house and we were always able to find them at Cripple Creek Ace. Besides having a large variety of items to choose from, if there's something that you need that isn't carried in the store they can (most likely) order it for you. The staff is also very experienced and helpful, so if you have questions, be sure to ask them.
Prices are not bad but the owner is
