Can't really call it a campsite, more like a garbage dump with tents and RVs. The whole trip every dumpster was full, the dumpster fumes blow into the bathroom shower area...pleasant...truly... The owner might be the most anti-social moron I've ever encountered... you can hear him screaming from his hilltop trailer a dozen times a day.

I think people are exaggerating a little bit with their awful reviews. The campground was quiet (except for barking from a house that might not even have been related to the campground) The owner was very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean. There weren't many trees and the camping area was a little open but still beautiful and located on a small Creek. We enjoyed our trip there.

Terrible! Our visit last weekend emphasized the drastic decline of this place from previous visits several years ago. Upon arrival, we noticed 7-8 large overfilled dumpsters greeting us at the entry. The smell eminating from them was ghastly! We found the trailer that they use as an office, and were greeted to find out that they would NOT give us the campsites we had reserved months before. We had reserved them based on trying to get some shade, and we were told they had plenty of trees. There were none. We were given no instructions as to the use of the campsites, such as where to park, water, electrical, etc... When we found the campsite, we began to set up, only to have the owner "Bobby" come rushing up in his golf cart yelling at us that we were setting up in the wrong places in the campsite.... of course no previous instructions were given and no signs were posted. Maybe he expects that we can read his very small mind. He was incredibly rude and disorganized.

The entire campground is fast turning into a low rent trailer park. The owner is a disgusting creep who yells at customers and mistreats residences.

I just recently stayed there with my kids and it's such a shame that this beautiful area is being run down by drug addicts. The tent camping is gorgeous and quiet, however the rest of the upper part of park is full of old filthy camper trailers with tarps and plywood holding them together. The dumpsters were overflowing with trash and animals had gotten into it all and strung it all over the place. Not to mention when I asked if the water was potable water the owner said yes, therefore I filled my trailer tank with it and later I filled my dogs water bucket and it had a light brown color to it. To me that is "not" potable water. I would not recommend any family to this place unless under new owners in the future.

I will NEVER return to this awful dump. Save yourself the trouble and just go to a Forest Service campground!

The bathrooms are an uphill hike from the campsites, and not worth the effort. They are disgusting and filthy. There are 3 small stalls in there with only a curtain for privacy. The showers are disgusting and you have to wait. However, don't be surprised if you are a woman and "Bobby" walks right in to the womens' restrooms or showers to yell at you!! It happened to us!

how a band of methheadz came to own a campground, i'm sure I'll never know. Where to begin...the water is non-potable...the owner just casually mentioned the water is contaminated, no big deal...just don't drink it, or shower in it. Only 1 of the tent sites has a level piece of dirt big enough to pitch a medium tent... all other sites are extremely slanted... the people that are there seem to be permanent residents... one guy has a tent connected to his van with a tarp that looked like something out of a horror film with dogs that never stopped barking. the neighbors that are right on the property line also had a pack of barking dogs and apparently have unlimited ammo because you hear gunfire all day. I don't know if he owns it or just runs it, but this missing tooth pot bolly stained t shirt slob named Bobby will sell you firewood, than complain when you burn it... it had been raining for 3 days, and he came down screaming about a fire hazard...when the ground was SOAKED... the baboon wouldn't stop cussing in front of my wife and kid the whole time... I can't believe people live here... I'm almost certain if you do meth, you'll be invited to join their commune. There really isn't enough time to list the insanity we endured here...the only way to know is to experience it for yourself... happy camping!

We finally got set up in the overgrown weeds, and found plenty of trash left from previous occupants. These sites are not much different from dispersed camping, except the more permanent residents that live at the campground in various dilapidated trailers. There is a private residence very close by with many very loud dogs that howl and bark all day.... no idea what they are doing over there. We also heard gunshots from that property.
