This three-story regional history museum is very well done. They have a floor dedicated to mining, a floor dedicated to dinosaurs, and a floor for pioneer life. We (2 adults and 2 kids) enjoyed all of the displays, and it is free.

The Heritage Center was perfect. . Lots of great historical displays and information about Cripple Creek and Victor. It is a MUST to see. We were greeted upon entry, but they weren't real helpful. The visitor center part was lacking, but the informational information was great! Totally deserves a 5 rating.
